Incremental Data Change for Curated Data Repository Version 8 - Fitbit Tables

The All of Us Researcher Workbench team previously released an incremental data change in October 2025 for the Registered and Controlled Tier Curated Data Repository (CDR) version 8 (CDRv8). This update unintentionally reverted a previous fix related to a column order issue in two Fitbit tables—activity_summary and sleep_daily_summary—causing certain columns to swap positions, resulting in discrepancies in related data counts. The All of Us Researcher Workbench team released a subsequent update to CDRv8 on February 20th, 2026 to revert these changes to align these Fitbit table columns correctly. 

This prompted a refresh of CDR v8, changing its explicit path from “2024Q3R8” to “2024Q3R9” in Researcher Workbench 1.0. An update to this new CDR version will be available in Researcher Workbench 2.0 soon. As a result, you may need to re-run your queries to align with this change. If your project previously included Fitbit data from these two tables since October 31st, 2025, we recommend reviewing your v8 analysis results to evaluate any potential downstream impacts.
