In this Office Hours, Micah Hysong, PhD candidate in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, presented his work on quantifying social determinants of health (SDoH) for disease prediction using a multi-level framework that integrates Healthy People 2030 domains with All of Us data. His talk will highlight approaches to combining individual- and area-level SDoH measures, evaluating their relative contributions to disease prediction, and identifying key considerations when incorporating SDoH into population-scale analyses within the Researcher Workbench.
