As of February 24th, 2026, we’re excited to announce that CDR v8 Controlled Tier data is now available in the Researcher Workbench 2.0, powered by Verily Pre.
What you need to know
- The All of Us v8 Controlled Tier dataset is available as a data collection in the Researcher Workbench 2.0.
- You can access the updated platform using your same Researcher Workbench login credentials.
- All Researcher Workbench access requirements will remain the same.
- The current Researcher Workbench will no longer be supported beyond Summer 2026.
During beta phase (Fall 2025 - Spring 2026)
- You may create new workspaces in the current Researcher Workbench and/or Researcher Workbench 2.0.
- Not all features will be available in Researcher Workbench 2.0 - new features will be rolled out over time.
After beta
- You can only create new workspaces in Researcher Workbench 2.0.
- Existing Researcher Workbench workspaces will be migrated to Researcher Workbench 2.0 during a transition period. More details on the migration plan will be shared with researchers soon.
