We’re pleased to announce the beta release of Researcher Workbench 2.0, powered by Verily Pre, which is now available for use with the CDRv8 Registered Tier All of Us dataset. The enhanced platform supports the continued growth and innovation that drives this program forward.
New features, new possibilities
Optimized for usability, Researcher Workbench 2.0 offers a more intuitive interface, advanced tools for data exploration and analysis, and expanded cloud capabilities. What you need to know
- You can access the updated platform using your same Researcher Workbench login credentials.
- All Researcher Workbench data access requirements will remain the same.
- The current Researcher Workbench will no longer be supported beyond Summer 2026.

During beta phase:
- You may create new workspaces in the current Researcher Workbench or Researcher Workbench 2.0.
- In this beta launch, you’ll have access to CDRv8 Registered Tier data. Controlled Tier data will be added in a subsequent release.
- Not all features will be available in Researcher Workbench 2.0 - new features will be rolled out over time.

After beta
- You can only create new workspaces in Researcher Workbench 2.0.
- Existing Researcher Workbench workspaces will be migrated to Researcher Workbench 2.0 during a transition period. More details on the migration plan will be shared with researchers soon.
