Featured workspaces provide examples of data querying, wrangling, and analysis to support you when using the All of Us Researcher Workbench.
To access featured workspaces
- Log in to the Researcher Workbench.
- Click “Workspaces.”
- Search for “All of Us Tutorial Workspace.”

Click the title of the workspace you want to open.
Note: Featured workspaces are read only. To edit a featured workspace, you need to duplicate the workspace.
To duplicate a featured workspace
Featured workspaces are READ ONLY unless you duplicate the workspace for your own use.
- Click “
.”
- Click “Duplicate.”
Note: When you duplicate a featured workspace, a copy of the original workspace description is included in the duplicated workspace.
- Edit and/or update the workspace description as necessary.
Note: Read about writing your workspace description for information about each section you see on the screen.
To preview notebooks in featured workspaces
- Go to the Resources tab.

Select the workspace bucket “aou-tutorial-notebooks.”

Select the "Browse" button.

Select the notebook you would like to preview.

This tutorial workspace will help researchers get started accessing All of Us data in Researcher Workbench. This workspace will demonstrate how to set up a workspace in Verily Workbench and how to access the All of Us Controlled Tier v8 Data. To access and interact with the notebooks in this workspace, please duplicate the workspace.
All of Us Tutorial Workspace: Getting Started with Registered Tier Data (v9)
This tutorial workspace will help researchers get started accessing All of Us data in Researcher Workbench. This workspace will demonstrate how to set up a workspace in Verily Workbench and how to access the All of Us Registered Tier v8 Data. To access and interact with the notebooks in this workspace, please duplicate the workspace.
All of Us Tutorial Workspace: A Guide to Using Biospecimen Tables (v8)
This tutorial workspace will help researchers get started accessing All of Us biospecimen data in the Researcher Workbench. This workspace demonstrates how to access the All of Us biospecimen table and combine with the All of Us Controlled Tier CDRv8 dataset.
