Race and ethnicity generalizations

Note: All electronic health record (EHR) data regarding race and ethnicity are preserved in the Controlled Tier but are removed from the Registered Tier dataset. These data are provided by the participant through surveys that have been subjected to the All of Us privacy methodology. Additionally, all EHR diagnosis codes that are indicative of race and ethnicity minority status are removed.

Below are generalizations applicable to the Registered Tier dataset. To view generalizations applicable to the Controlled Tier Dataset, please refer to the Data Dictionary.
