The issue was found at 10:39 AM ET on December 18, 2019 and impacts Workbench users attempting to sign-in to the Workbench and open Workspaces:
Users may not be able to load their Workspaces and will see an "Error checking registration. Failed to fetch" banner.

December 18, 2019 11:13 AM ET - Issue Investigation - The teams are working to stabilize the systems. Users will continue to experience issues accessing Workspaces.
December 18, 2019 10:39 AM ET - Issue discovered - Our internal team received notifications of instability in Terra services as well as user reports of being unable to load Workspaces on the Terra/FireCloud platform.
Users may not be able to access the Workbench platform until the issue has been resolved.
