  • Updated

We have a few updates to share from the past two months. Please see the list below for information about these updates:

Researcher Workbench Features & Updates:

  • RStudio now available - RStudio is now an integrated application on the Researcher Workbench! See Using RStudio on the Research Workbench to learn more about using the RStudio app in your workspace.
  • SAS now available - SAS Studio is now available in the Researcher Workbench! To learn more about using this in your workspace, see these support articles: How to run SAS in the Researcher Workbench; Exploring All of Us data using SAS
  • Docker Hub - the Researcher Workbench now supports access to publicly available docker images from DockerHub. This support article explains how to use publicly available docker images from DockerHub on the Researcher Workbench.
  • Workspace deletion - users will now be notified of a running application when they attempt to delete a workspace. We recommend you delete all environments or running applications prior to deleting a workspace.

Bug Fixes

  • Training module issue - users were experiencing a “Multiple Absorb Accounts” sync issue after successful completion of the training module. This has been resolved.
  • Concept Set Selector user interface issue - users experienced an infinite spinner when saving a concept set with the name of another concept set from another data domain. This has been resolved.
  • Concept Set Selector for surveys - when creating a new concept set for surveys, the search term remained in the search bar and would not allow users to clear the search. This has been resolved.
  • Genomics Incremental Release - our team found two new known issues in the array and short-read genomic data. We released updated array merged Hail MT and PLINK bed files and list files with the research IDs of the affected samples. We recommend that researchers upgrade their analyses to use the new array data or remove affected srWGS samples.
