August 2023 Product Release Notes

All of Us Researcher Workbench features and updates

• We are always looking for ways to support new applications in the Researcher Workbench. Please reach out to the All of Us Researcher Workbench support team via email at support@researchallofus.org if there are any tools or applications you would be interested in using within the Researcher Workbench.

Bug fixes

• Some researchers experience issues with Jupyter environment creation and deletion reliability. We appreciate your patience while we determine a solution to the issue.

Support resources

• We released two demonstration projects to the featured workspaces available in the Researcher Workbench: Demo - Polygenic Risk Score, Genetic Ancestry Calibration and Demo - General Health and Well-Being of SGM Participants (v6).
• We released the recording and workshop materials for the Introductory Genomics Workshop, which was held in July 2023 and provided an introduction to the All of Us Researcher Workbench and use cases for the genomics data by running a genome-wide association study (GWAS) using Hail. The Workshop: Intro to All of Us Genomics Data featured workspace can be paired with the video to guide you through the hands-on exercises.
